Lisa Lu is Married!!!

Well, I am now officially Mrs. James Kates and couldn't be happier (or more tired)! I apologize to anyone who has tried to contact me for my services within the past month, because obviously my mind was elsewhere. I will be attempting to contact those who have contacted me but if I miss you, please shoot me an email with your information and we can move forward on making YOUR big day special! Thanks for all your support and patience!

I am digitally distinct!

So for my personal branding class I had to take this online assessment to see what my online identity was. It was an interesting process where I looked up my name in google and evaluated the results that came up. It determined that I was digitally distinct! Guess I'm doing something right! So just curious, when you search your name in google what does it say about you? Most employers use google to look up applicants, so make sure everything on the first few pages are nothing but positive things about you!

Most recents!

I have had so much fun with my most recent clients! Here are some recents that I haven't added to the website yet:
Marissa & Phillip's theme was vintage Tiffany's. She wanted a blue similar to the Tiffany blue but not quite the same. She had a lot of information to include so her favorite quote we offset on a ribbon over silver swirls. She had matching RSVPs as well!
Carrie & Vernon were working on a short timeline due to the fact the moved their wedding up a few months! Vernon really liked the old english lettering but they wanted something simple in black and white but unique.

Karel is not your everyday handyman, or should I say handy "woman." She wanted something colorful but professional. She already had an idea of what she wanted, she just needed some professional help arranging it all visually.

Lisa Lu Designs creates an array of pieces from wedding invitations to business cards. If you have a special project you would like help on, give me a call to make an appointment. There's no obligation from meeting to discuss what I can do for you! Happy Spring!

New Website!

That's right, LisaLuDesigns.com has had a face-lift! The Everything Weddings Expo really helped put Lisa Lu Designs out there, and because of that I've been very busy lately!
I am hoping with this new website, I will be able to update and add all the fun, new designs I am creating! Keep a look-out for these couple's invitations to show up on the website soon:

Marissa Benson & Phillip Lopez's invitations & save the dates
Kelsie Plunkett & Josh Sprague's invitations
Carrie McBride & Vernon Harper's invitations

Since I also have been working with the American Foreclosure & Mortgage Relief foundation and will be working with St. Jude's Children's Hospital in the near future, be looking out for that as well!

Once again, I am filling up quickly so make sure to get your appointment with me ASAP. As of right now I am booking 1-2 weeks out. Have a wonderful Valentine's Day!

xoxo,
Lisa Lu

Wilson-Currey Thank You Notes

My cousin Rebecca wanted some thank you notes to match her invites. Now, Rebecca knew exactly what she wanted. She even emailed me her own sketch of what she wanted. I was able to transform her sketch to reality. Like I've said before, if you have the vision, I can make it happen!

Jonica Fasig Wedding Invitations

Jonica was a referral and had a unique story that she wanted to portray in her invites. She is a proud Italian and her finace proposed to her on a gondola at the venetian in Las Vegas. She knew she wanted gold and a dark purple. She also wanted to incorporate a gondola in some way. This was truly a unique project with personalized gold enhancements.
